The Blind Equestrian Community is an informal national community of blind riders and their coaches, families and friends who have an interest in promoting blind riding at all levels and in all disciplines. We have tips for trainers of blind riders, and a way to donate to a grant from the Dressage Foundation.
If you are a blind rider, work with horses on the ground, or just love horses and would like to be in touch with like-minded others, the Blind Equestrian community (BEC) is for you. We held a BEC clinic in 2025 and have a video there for you to view.
Please consider passing this information on to others, as we are trying to gather the blind equestrian community together to support each other, to understand successes and challenges, and to be advocates when necessary.
